Bask in this warm weather tropical dream destination

Mere mention of the word “Seychelles” conjures images of perfect isolation and ultimate relaxation. With temperatures seldom dipping below 24 degrees, the 115 idyllic islands which make up the Seychelles beg to be explored all year round. This Indian Ocean jewel is synonymous with sapphire waters, virgin beaches and untouched forests. But what makes the Seychelles even more special is the sheer opulence of the islands’ hotels and the strong Creole influences on its culture and cuisine.

Tour Itinerary Idea & Inspiration for Seychelles

African Opulence works with exclusive properties and operators on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue to craft the kind of tropical island vigils that dreams are made of. Whether you choose to totally unwind on a single island of your choice or to craft an itinerary that sees you visit all three of the Seychelles’ brightest gems, we’ve got the knowledge and experience to ensure that the trip surpasses your wildest expectations.

In addition to transfers and accommodation, we are able to arrange a staggering smorgasbord of water- and land-based activities in the real-world paradise that is the Seychelles. Walk barefoot on the perfect sands of Anse Source D’Argent, explore the bounteous forest of the Morne Seychellois National Park and get up close and personal with the giant tortoises on the tiny islet of Curieuse.

Places to visit in Seychelles

Mahé
All visitors land at the international airport on Mahé, home to a heady mix of beaches, forests, waterfalls and villages – and a range of hotels to suit every whim. If you can resist the bustle of Victoria, myriad hiking trails crisscross the island and lead to first-class snorkelling and swimming at Mahé’s many beaches. Guided walks through the Morne Seychellois National Park offer views of blanketed hills and unspoiled wildlife, not to mention fascinating carnivorous plants, colonial-era ruins and a functioning tea factory.
Praslin
Smaller and more intimate than Mahé is the impossibly romantic island of Praslin. Famous for the endemic Coco de Mer palm tree (see it in the Vallée de Mai nature reserve), whose curvaceous fruit have been prized by sailors and courtesans for centuries, Praslin also boasts far more than its fair share of sugar-white beaches, azure waters and unblemished forests. Day trips to the nearby island of Curieuse (home to a breeding farm of giant Aldabra tortoises) and the immense seabird colony on Cousin Island also come highly recommended.
La Digue
Even tinier and quieter than Praslin, the modern world has completely passed La Digue by. The island’s picture-postcard beaches are best reached on foot or by bicycle, and the ensuing privacy is possibly La Digue’s biggest drawcard. Anse Source d’Argent – dotted with giant granite boulders – is considered one of the world’s most perfect beaches, but it is by no means the only contender on paradisiacal La Digue, the brightest gem in the Seychelles’ crown and a veritable slice of heaven on earth.
